"For me being in GWAR was like playing on the worlds greatest
basketball team but you never quite make it to the play-offs.
In spite of that I'm proud of what I accomplished against the
odds. My major interest was to use my art to create a new mythology
for the new millennium. I told the story any way I could, through
the opera of the live show, through directing videos, drawing
comics, or writing background for the war game. During my time
with GWAR my day job was making artificial limbs and I brought
this technology to making dynamic props and costumes for GWAR.
I love prosthetics and still do it part time, but my main emphasis
since I left GWAR has been illustration and I have a body of
work pending publication within the next year or so." |
