"I started working for GWAR in 1992 after a few semesters at
Virginia Commonwealth University Art School. I joined Hunter
Jackson doing comics, and helping him with props and costumes
that he was building for GWAR. I did small projects until 1993,
when I was put on mainline projects. I went on small tours as
slave/tech till 1994 and was then placed on full time. In 1995, I became the stage manger for the GWAR live
shows. I have also been one of the lead fabricators in the Slave
Pit for many years now. Drawing comics, making props, doing
videos, and creating merchandise for the mail order department are
just a few of my roles in the Slave Pit.
I am now working on my own art and doing other projects such
as building props for movies: "Mr. Show's Run Ronnie Run",
a short run Broadway show "Crash Test Dummies", along
with my other freelance prop-making and graphics jobs.
Please feel free to check out more of my work at my website
or email me at maguire at Slave Pit Inc dot com." |
